Irenenee Castrissios – Naturopath & Herbalist

My journey to Naturopathy came about by me seeking an alternative to my stressful career in the corporate world and wanting to have children. As I have always have had an interest in natural health and in particular herbal medicine, motivated me to make a career change from Accounting and Finance to Naturopathy.

Whilst working in the stressful and demanding industry of Investment Banking in London, I saw first-hand the negative impact that stress has on health and your life. I felt the stress was literally killing me and it was affecting my fertility!

So, I decided that I needed to change and in 2006 I finished my 4-year course to become a qualified Naturopath and Herbalist and 4 years after I had my twins.

I have a particular interest in Corporate Wellness, Women’s Health, gut health and stress/fatigue related conditions. I do this by creating an individualised treatment plan that may incorporate nutritional advice, herbal medicine, lifestyle changes and massage.

Instead of working in a stressful career, I help people be healthier and happier!

My philosophy to health as a Naturopath is to treat the whole person not just the symptoms.

I love cooking so I work closely with clients to change what and how they eat to keep them healthy for life. Good nutrition are the building blocks of good health. If needed, I use herbal medicine to help the body’s natural healing abilities.

With my corporate background and as a working mum of twins, I understand the pressures of life so I tend to not to overload clients with a lot of supplements and dietary changes all at once as I believe small changes add up to make the biggest impact on health.
